Yes. Any teacher can sign up and use Salamantija completely free for their class. Free access includes group management, task assignment, per-student tracking and basic reports. Advanced features for schools (multi-teacher dashboard, integration with school systems) are part of the school plans.
Salamantija needs an internet connection to sync student progress and access the full activity catalogue. However, students can continue already-downloaded activities offline, and data syncs automatically when the connection returns. For classrooms with limited connectivity, contact our team about local-installation options.
With free teacher access you can manage up to 35 students per class, which covers most primary classrooms in Spain. If you have several groups or need more capacity, you can create multiple classes or look at the school plans, which have no student limit.
Not essential. Salamantija can be used in projected class mode, where the teacher runs the session from their device and projects it for the whole class. For individual work and detailed tracking, it's ideal for each student to have access to a tablet, computer or phone, whether in the computer room or via their own devices.
Yes. Salamantija complies with the GDPR and Spanish data-protection law. Primary student profiles don't need their own email: the teacher manages access. We show no ads, don't sell data, and all servers are located in the European Union.
